Block Skype using firewall rules

Hello,

Is it possible to block the use of Skype using firewall rules.

I dont have a license for "Web Security" and I need to block the use of Skype.

It's impossible, you can check it by firewall.

what licences do you have?

Some of the IM/P2P rules can help reduce its reliability to obtain a connection.

Hi,

I know this is an old article, but it may still apply today. It comes from one of the founders of Skype, explaining (at the time, at least) how it works past most firewalls. Good luck to you [:P].
