Block Skype using firewall rules

Hello,

Is it possible to block the use of Skype using firewall rules.
I dont have a license for "Web Security" and I need to block the use of Skype.

I think no, because skype uses also https port...

It's impossible, you can check it by firewall.

Thanks for the replys,

I dont have the license for IM/P2P. 

Just for a test, I created a new rule to block everything to a specific host and placed this rule at the top posicion. I can see that all attempts for connection from this specific host are dropped (Packet Filter - Live Log). But the Skype connects normally.

The most strange is that I cant see any connection allowed at the "Packet Filter - Live Log" from this host when skype connects.

Hi, Paolo, and welcome to the User BB!

If you have a rule that allows Skype traffic, it only  will show allowed traffic if logging is set.
