Setup help for Pogoplug

I am having problems getting my Pogoplug to work with Astaro V 7.5.0.7
I was told that I only need to open UDP port 4365 for the Pogoplug to connect to
the service. I setup a rule for that port and it does not work. I also created a rule to open all ports for Pogoplug and still no connection is made. Can someone help me please? I am not an expert with the Astaro software configuration and need some detailed information how to get the Pogoplug service configured.

    Please show the line in the full (not the live) packet filter log were the packet is blocked.

    What rule did you use to open the port?

    Thank you for your help. I created in Network Security under Packet Filter a rule to open port 4365UDP and its not showing in the log as being blocked. I am sure I am doing something wrong or miss another step, since I am not an expert in the Astaro configuration and still trying to learn to be able to accomplish everything I am trying to do. I had problems with other devices such as IP cameras and finally gave up on it.  If you could assist me with the Pogoplug, I really appreciate it. I know the Pogoplug works, since it connects without a problem if I hook it up  directly to my DSL modem. Pogoplug support told me only port 4365 UDP in and outgoing is needed for the Pogoplug to connect to their servers.

    The packet filter log does not show anything regarding port 4365, I attached a picture of the rule I created. Thanks for your help

    If there's nothing being blocked in the PF log, we might assume that the taffic is not going out correctly.  Do you have a masquerading rule 'Internal (Network -> External' interface?

    Well, I just looked up Pogoplug, and it appears that you also must have a DHCP service configured.  Do you have that either in the Astaro or a server?

    Yes the service does not make any connections on port 4365 and I see nothing being blocked related to the Pogoplug. There has to be something else that I am not doing right. I post a picture of the DHCP and Masquerading I have configured. Thank you very much

    Does the External interface of your Astaro have a public IP, or do you have a router with a public IP and your Astaro behind it?  If so, Pogoplug may have problems dealing with two levels of NAT (double-NAT), and you should put your router into bridge mode or remove it altogether.

    I have the Astaro connected to my DSL modem which has DHCP enabled and assigns an IP to the Astaro external interface. I don't have any other router connected in front of the Astaro. Thanks

    Some DSL modems have both the modem and a router in one physical box. When they do they're often setup in 'gateway' mode where the Modem does DHCP & NAT. Quick way to tell if you have one is to look at the DHCP assigned address of your 'external' interface. If it starts with 192.168.x.y or 10.x.y.z the modem is most likely in gateway mode.

    You need to get that DSL modem into bridged mode.  It can't be doing DHCP and NAT if you want the Pogoplug to work behind the Astaro.  99% of home users of Astaro do it the way Andrew and I are recommending.
