Cannot log in v8

I recently migrated from v7.505 using my .abf file to v8 (Home User). After the upgrade I cannot log in using my old credentials(Super Admin nor Admin Credentials) from the web GUI. Yes I have upgraded my home licenses to the new standard through my.astaro.com profile and had all firmware updates. I have tried installing 64 and 32 bit. I tried installing from the gui and USB still cannot log in with my old credentials. Last but not least tried other .abf files. All with no success. I am running in transparent mode.

Thanks for the reply. Tried your solution but had no success. Could this be a bug in the home users lic. in v8 ? v7.505 has 0 issues even when I rebuild back to v7.505. I even tried other browsers, still had no success.

Hi,
How many NICs are installed?
I think you will find the answer is your NICs have changed order, try swapping the cables around after you have restored your backup.

The sort process was changed in V8 and as a result the NICs are numbered differently from V7. A version of v8 will be released to address this issue.

I have been changing one of the files so the high performance NIC carries my internal networks (VLANs).

Thanks for the response. I have 2 nic's. One is LAN/MGT and the other is Wan. I tried switching the nic's but did not prevail.

As you all have seen I have exhausted all avenues to solve this issue. Is there anyone out there that may have any ideas on how to solve my issue. I do understand that this is a home user lic. Has anybody else experience this issue? I cannot be the only one. All comments are welcome.

Had this exact same problem when trying to upgrade from 7.505 to v8, never found a solution and finally gave up.

I tried everything including the password reset procedure here;

Still would not accept the new or old password to login.
