Help getting into Web Admin. Not working anymore.

Hello, we used to be able to get into out backend by going to https://192.168.1.1[:P]ort# but now that port isn't working. We then went to https://192.168.1.1 and are able to login using admin and password but there isn't anything to do other than change the password. It looks different and states it's the end-user portal. Any help to get into the backend would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes.  Bad bug now. 

    You need to turn off the proxy settings on your browser to access the Web Admin page.

    If you are pointing your browser at the Astaro HTTP/S Proxy, you need to select 'bypass proxy for local addresses' or indicate the IP of the Astaro as one not proxied.

    The local proxy bypass option no longer is effective with the new webadmin.  Worked well in the past.

    At connection to web interface Astaro, after certificate reception, we have:
    The requested URL / was not found on this server.

    In what there can be a reason?

    Hi,
    if you are using the proxy, depends on the mode you are using what you need to do to access webadmin.

    basically the default is something like 192.168.100.1:4444

    Your IE needs to have a line in the bypass function of 192.168.100 or in firefox 192.168.100.0/24.

    I use these settings with the http proxy in standard mode.

    I have built/rebuilt many ASGs of the years since I started usin ght e Astaro software and it has always been https://192.168.100.1:4444.

    I you are having trouble from a fresh build you don't need to change the proxy settings until you do your restore.

    Thanks that have responded.

    1. The proxy server for me is not present.
    2. Value on-default: 192.168.2.100:4444 - ping is present.

    Hi Serg,

    let us try a different approach.

    Do you have another box (PC etc) on the network that might have that address? Power off all other devices on your network and try accessing the ASG again.

    I am assuming this is a new build (installation), how many interfaces do you have?
    What IP address does your PC have and how does it get the address?

    Hi Ian!

    On astaro two interfaces. "Red" - it is not connected.
    To "Green"(192.168.2.100) is connected one PC, with address 192.168.2.1 - installed in hand-held.
    That's all.

    Tried SecurePoint, Endian, ClarkConnect, ZeroShell, SmoothWall, Untangle,
    IpCop, pfSense, ComixWall, Vyatta, Engarde - all works, except Astaro!
    It is sad...
