Can anyone help determine the proper way to purge information from this partition. I continue to receive a warning "current usage is greater than 85%".
Try a reboot. If that doesn't resolve your issue, search here as similar problems were dealt with via command line SSH at some point earlier this year.
I'm not sure which version you are running, but there were some problems regarding filled-up partitions which have been fixed by past up2dates, so if you're not running 7.401 I'd suggest you update your system.
Hi!

now its 94% ...im not so strong in linux command how can i check what a problem?

What size is your hard drive? What was good for earlier versions may not be big enough. My 8GB disk was sufficient for earlier versions but filled when using the 7.49 betas.
my is 40gb i dont think its small
minimum requierement is 20gb....so its not a hd..
anyway all this day i dont have logs at all ( standart grows logs like couple of kbytes, not like it was in 7.5 megabytes)
