from my own email address since last thursday, 5 or 6 have bounced today so you should be able to find them.

an exact time stamp for one is 08:34:03 +0100  that one was not addressed to support it was addressed to an individual who's email I won't give out in the forum. I will pm you mine and his address

Do you have a FQDN for the hostname?  You may be getting bounced due to an invalid HELO if the SMTP hostname doesn't contain a "."

yes my hostname is fully qualified both on the astaro and in dns.
Is anyone actually looking in to this issue at astaro? because the guy handling my platinum support request on another matter has given me his personal email address to correspond with him, but I have not heard anything back about this particular issue.

I am really am losing faith in the platinum support team in Germany, the USA are so much more helpful, but I can rarely get through to them because of the timezone difference.

If it wasn't for you  Jack and Tom helping in these forums, I think I would have given up on Astaro.

It was a false positive from Commtouch. It should be corrected in the meantime. If you still have problems please let me know at tkistner@astaro-tech.com (this address is not using any filtering).

So "550 Administrative prohibition" means I was rejected by the commtouch engine. [8-)]
Was it based on my address or the contents of the mail then? because some would get through others wouldn't. 

Could the error message be improved  to explain a bit more why it was rejected? I know you don't want to give the spammers too many clues, but the bounced messages used to say listed in RBL, greylisted, "not listed in upstream relay" etc.  If one of my customers contacted me about an email my astaro has rejected in these circumstances, I would not have known where to begin looking for an answer. [:S]

All mails that I have sent since last night to Jack and support have got through ok.

Commtouch does both "IP Reputation" (a la RBL) and fingerprint-based content checks. How they are weighted exactly is their secret [:)]

I'll change the rejection text to include a hint in 7.400 ...

Thanks for the explanation, out of interest did you use the new report as a false positive facility in mail manager to fix the situation or do you have another route in to commtouch?

I am interested in how quickly the new report a false positive facility takes to turnaround. (Not that we have had any false positives) our issues are with it not picking up enough spam last week since going to 7.301 case ref: 2008091710000491 if you are interested.

My office's V7.305 Astaro just began rejecting email from one of our clients who has had to contact me via my Gmail account.  They only send out a few emails a day, so I don't understand why they would be blacklisted if they aren't on any of the public blacklists:
