Driving the CPU to 100%

I think I might have found why the CPU runs up to 100%. If you mis-configure a series of time definitions so that they overlap the CPU seems to increase its utilisation.

I haven't forgotten, just microsoft declared my genuine vista 32 not genuine anymore and I had to start rebuilding by PC from scratch and the dominant ISP took adsl service off for 6 hours, they shouldn't have been touching it.

    Hmm, that sounds like a serious bug. What process sucks up CPU time when this happens?

    Is functionality otherwise affected?

    can you please be more precise on how to reproduce this issue, so our Engineers can verify if this is case and if yes, fix it.

    I didn't respond to your request earlier because I thought it might have been identified under v7.1xx testing.

    Yesterday 30th Nov 2007 I was able to drive the CPU to 100% for the duration of the overlapping time slots.

    I had a "block" time slot active at the same time as similar time slot to "allow" traffic through.

    I have time managed access in both HTTP and Packet Filter.

    I have attached 2 snapshots of the offending time slots. Neither is configured in the faulty condition in the snapshots.
