unable to login to webadmin

hi. 
i am running asg 7.06 on DELL poweredge.
i had general power failure in the building and the FW went dead.

after the power was retored, i turned on the DELL, and wathe all the process getting loaded (F2 for details), among them was the webadmin module.

once it finindh i tried to go to the url for manging the astaro, but got page cannot be displayed; also i don't have ping to the internal interface (i had b4)
and cannot ping to the internet (nor surf)

do i have to re-install the damm machine or is there a way to fix it?

    This is sounding EXACTLY like what happened to one of my boxes on the weekend. I just today finally got it replaced.

    Config restore WOULD NOT work. Factory reset wouldn't even work. Only choice was for a new box, since I was not able to remotely restore the appliance image.

    Mrkashtan, are you able to login at the console? If so, type ifconfig , and see if your interfaces are up. On my box, only loopback came up, no other interface.

    I was running v6.304 ,  not v7, but your symptoms are exact as mine.

    Maybe just the config got corrupted... if you have a recent, uncencrypted copy of a backup file, stick it on a usb stick and cut the machine on with the USB stick plugged in.  that may get you back up and running.

    I know in my case, that was wishful thinking. I get weekly config backup emails, and I tried going back 7 weeks worth of backups. Not one of them got the box back up and running. I think that is why support just said they would RMA the box.

    I've had it work well on a few appliances as well as custom equipment... sure, if the HD is going bad, or the OS got corrupted, it's not going to work -- but I've not had that problem yet, it's always been a config corruption problem (power off at an inoppurtune moment, etc.).
