Hi, I'm the president of my HOA, and we bought a 120 to manage the community network. Anyhow, it only runs the firewall, DHCP and P2P blocking. So, given we had three months to see if it worked, I didn't think we needed the maintenance package. So, the box was crashing every 2-7 days. I contacted astaro, they decided that they need to put us under the maintenance package for three months. So they updated us and the box became stable.
Four days ago that license ran out and the box started crashing again. Now, it shouldn't make a difference at this point, we are fully updated at 7.07, so its not like there is some update thats out there that provides the stability thats not installed. So , my question is this: does astaro design the security gateways to automatically crash when you don't have the maintenance package?
To answer some question ahead of time. Yes, both of the auto update boxes are off. The CPU doesn't hit 100% very often and averages about 6%, memory is about 50%.
Thanks! I hope I'm wrong (it's a terrible thing to think about a company), and I would be interested in any suggestions you might think it is besides this.
