If you mean however can your Wireless device directly attach to it via an Astaro Wireless card, SSID, I believe not
Attaching WiFi tranciever cards directly in the Astaro box was supported up to ASG ver 4. It was dropped after that, since there are now a great many little WiFi routers available.

You can turn a cheap 4-port WiFi router into an access point by disabling the DHCP server in it, changing the default IP address in it to something more suitable and then connecting one of the four LAN ports on it to the WiFi interface you installed in the Astaro box.
You then create a masquerade rule in Astaro, masquerading the WiFi net behind the WAN interface. This will provide the wireless connections with Internet access. Packet filter rules will have to be added as required.
With WiFi on a separate interface, you will need to open a VPN connection from a wireless laptop to connect to the Internal network. This provides enhanced security over the basic WEP encryption provided by the WiFi connection.

Hello, Normally is it possible to use an Astaro with a PCI Wireless interface like an access point. Here is a copy of what we can read in the Astaro KB :

In Access Point mode, the firewall will act as a hub for wireless clients that can connect and access the firewall without the need for a stand alone wireless gateway or router. This mode allows for full SSID, Channel, and WEP settings, and can be combined with VPN for ultra-secure wireless connectivity.
In Station mode, the interface will log in to an existing wireless network, and act as a simple endpoint. In Station mode, you can also assign addresses by DHCP. This is not possible in Access Point mode, where addresses must be set manually. Station mode is usually only implemented where the firewall is not hard wired into the network and thus communicates to an access point for connectivity.

I can understand that you removed this feature because of the many accespoints available. But as of now, many DSL modem/routers are effectively covering the wireless part, acting as access points as well.
In my case I have Astaro connected directly to ne of the ethernet port of my router. Using the integrated part of the wireless, would afect that bypassing Astaro.
I would like to be able to have Astaro act as an access point, behind itself.
So, if I understand right, I need a third or fourth Ethenet card, acquire an additional wifi access point and so on.
Why not keeping the solution a wifi card like linksys WMP54G?
