I can see why you think this forum is a little "dead". But what makes you think Astaro itself is dead? How exactly did they kill themselves, care to elaborate?
I think he sees it as being dead because there isn't much activity on the forum. This could also be a very good indicator that the current releases are stable and have very few if any bugs.
I agree. The older versions had many more critical bugs. Also, Astaro is much busier now, they are a much larger company.
I do agree they need to have more presence on here though. Or at least have some "community" leaders, who can escalate important issues. Maybe have some non-Astaro employed moderators, who can respond to questions on a non-offical basis... if you know what I mean.
Simon, it is even harder for us home only users. We don't get any support when we submit a fault, even if it is a major fault, we get a response saying you don't have support.
So we rely very heavily on the expertise in these forums.
geeeeeeeeeeeee Nothing should be the same because the time bla..bla..bla etc..etc.. In year 2000 when I discover ASL Products there were 150 members in the Forum ....and now? There was version 1.5xxx -don't remember well- and Jan ,Markus and the rest of company were 6-7 years yunger than now and with different energy , work and responsibility; so what can I say : Simon and RFCat_wk may be you are not in trouble, but................. ciao e miao from Italy
