ATTN: Astaro support / Linux Programmers.

I used to run BPALogin on my ASL 4 box to support Telstra Bigpond Cablemodem user.

Telstra cable modem accounts require a "heartbeat" to be sent back to a server to keep the connection alive.  Without this the net connection is lost after a few minutes.

I just recently upgraded to v6 and the bpalogin program seg faults when I run it [:(]

I guess this is due to kernel compatibility.

What I'm wondering is... Could someone please download source and compile me a binary that will run on newest kernel in ASL 6?

Sourceforge project is here:
http://bpalogin.sourceforge.net/

Be much appreciated by myself and my users.

Pretty please....
