I don't know if you've all seen the new home user and power users licence agreements but I would just like to say a big thank you to astaro!

This is way more than I expected!

    I fully agree. Even if I can't renew my Power user license, the pricing is very feasable.

    Yes, I agree.  IPS, Email/HTTP Anti-Virus + Surf Protection for $60 is a  very generous concession to us home users!  I'm more than happy to pay up.  Thank you for listening to our posts, I'm excited to migrate from v4 to v5 after these changes have been completed!

    I'm still a little dissapointed in the cost for commercial IPS (I think it's way too high) but this is still great news for home/power users.  Whooo 900th post...

    Thank you once again Astaro for supporting your home users & beta testers. You have an amazing product which I run both at home & in our commercial environments. 
    It’s refreshing to see a company such as yourselves demonstrating such empathy towards your supporters.

    This is a home run..the pricing for home users flat out rocks.  Will be looking forward to turing up my v5 hdd on a more permanent basis when the new licenses come online..[:)]

    YES ! $59 is about $120 Singapore Dollars.
    Very affordable for all the features !

    Free IPS till September 2004 is great, also to let us test how good and reliable it is and if decided to buy then pay a very low price for it.

    This is real good because techie like us tested and found it to be good, we would recommend to customers and companies etc.

    But just one question, I just purchased my AV pop3/smtp scanning for V4 last december. Recently received an e-mail said my V5 license have anti spam included.

    So if I take this $59 bundle now, how would they calculate?

    Ha ha, guess it it time to say bye bye to my P166 and get ASL onto my desktop
    PIII 650
    512MB SD RAM
    13.5GB HDD.

     

    Lets just hope all the mentioned problems in ASL 5 now is fixed soon

    A verrrrrry big cherrrio to tha Crew. It seems to me that the last weeks of very few information about the new pricing for home-users and that many posts from the home-users were very inspirative to the Astaro crew. The pricing is absolutely terrific - i would like to thank you guys.

    I just gotta say this is great...I am fairly new to the Astaro scene but from what I've seen of v4, I am sold...

    I know once v5 is a little more stable I'll be shelling out the $59 for a full home user license...I can't wait...
