PPP0 Interface

Under Network -> Interfaces, can you edit it, disable and then enable it?

Not an expert here, but worht a shot....maybe. 

well exactly this do not work. cause nat rules are using PPPo interface. so i would like to do this with commands on the console. not on the webinterface

Open /etc/wfe/conf/itf.conf in the editor of your choice.
In the section of the ppp interface set "status = 0".
Save. Wait 5 seconds. Set status to 1 again.

But why do you need to restart?

Hi all

What is with the follow command?
/sbin/init.d/pppoe restart
..its doent work!!

i need a hang-up command for add in the CRONTAB!

Hello Sycorax.

Sorry, "/sbin/init.d/pppoe" is not for manual use. It is used by the MiddleWare.

To restart the pppoe/ppp connection you can just kill "pppoe".
e.g. killalll pppoe. 
If you don´t do that to often, the connection should be immediatly re-established.

A "stop" is available using this method, if you kill "DSL.sh" instead of "pppoe".
