J have a problem with my astaro 4.016
every 2 ou 3 days , from midnight i have almost a full memory usage (especially memory) with a max of swap.
My ASL is a 2 Ghz CPU and 512 MB of RAM (DDR SDRAM) , SCSI disk (Adaptec AIC-7892A U160/m)
after many of these messages :
2004-Jan 7 01:08:10 (none) superdaemon.pl[672]: [WAR 103] Allocating to much swap - please check
ASL stop working.
My daily kernel log is about 6 to 10 Mo
And I put the right rules to drop (not log) the broadcast and the ports 135, 137 , 139 packets.
Do you think that 6 to 10 Mo of Kernel log ( 500 000 lines) need more than 512 Mo of Ram ????
In the HCL-4_0_15_1_2004.txt, I read :
tested server :
COMPAQ ML 330/350/370(G2) Smart Array 5i or 532, SCSI-HDD 36GB max!!! |
not running with adapter card 29160!! ????
SCSI cards :
AIC-7892A U160/m | | X | | | ?????
ASL has this card
I trust the server tested or the scsi expected to work ??????
