Aggregate bandwidth

Hi everybody ...
I have this question

I am arranging a contract with a ISP and i have the possibility
to have two distinct HDSL lines that go in the same or differnet router
without any balancing or aggregation ...
I wish to know if using whichever configuration or trick
using ASL I can aggregate the two bandwidths ...
so that I can use them together (or something like that) ...
any clue ?

Honestly? The best thing for you to do is try to get the ISP to aggregate them using a Cisco 2600 that way you will get bi-directional aggregation and failover.

You could use a nextland router 800 to get inbound quasi aggregation and failover but that won't work for anything you host the other end.

With Astaro its not really possible right now unless they upgrade the functionality of the routing tools in 4.x

The isp don't bgp with this contract unless you are an AS
(sound strange but the ISP is very stupid ) then have to use the directions given in http://docs.astaro.org/older_versions/ASL-V3.2/docs_v3/hacking/policy_routing.txt ..
if they are applicable to v4 .... someone con answer about it ?
