Network Interface Save - Synatx Error

Today I went to Network Interface to edit the IP address on an interface. Upon pressing save I get a systax error complaining about the interface name can't contain.... I back spaced the name out and re-entered, rebooted and still cant save the change or the origional address.

Any thoughts?

How does the configuration look like_ now_ (IF-Name, Type, IP-address, netmask, etc.)?
How do you want the config look like?

Interface Name = GK
Type Standard
IP Address 10.250.0.1
Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway NONE

Actually all I want to do is to turn on QOS.
But at this time once I open the interface to edit the parametres without even going iinto advanced I can't save it even without making any changes.

I assume you imported a backup of an older version... in V4 an interface name should contain at least 3 characters... so just add a third character and it should work...
