If the Astaro box is never shut down then this should be a mute point. The DHCP lease time will never expire if the nic that is assigned the IP address is never taken out of it's table. Generally though there is no way of knowing how long the lease is on a DHCP client only the server. hope that this helps
My ISP renews the lease every 7 days. I think what happens is they force a release and when my ASL box send data it gets a new address. I have had three different IP in the past 3 weeks. My ASL box has not been shut down since I did the 2.2 to 3.2 upgrade on the firewall.
