DHCP Address on e3xt interface

How can I found out when the external inface gets a new address and ho long is good for. 

The web IF does not tell me this

    If the Astaro box is never shut down then this should be a mute point.  The DHCP lease time will never expire if the nic that is assigned the IP address is never taken out of it's table.  Generally though there is no way of knowing how long the lease is on a DHCP client only the server.

    My ISP renews the lease every 7 days. I think what happens is they force a release and when my ASL box send data it gets a new address. I have had three different IP in the past 3 weeks. My ASL box has not been shut down since I did the 2.2 to 3.2 upgrade on the firewall.

    I have an exchange server I want to use OWA on and not knowing the IP or having to check it each week is a pain. I had a static IP, my ISP caught me.

    So seen no one has yet bothered to answer any of my questions yet, I'll tag on to this one :-)

    So seen you both use dhcp on hte External INterface, I presume the firewall notices this IP renewal and automatically reloads the firewall?
