DHCP on external interface

Can anyone relate success or failure of ASL 3.2 to properly aquire and renew DHCP leases on the external (red, untrusted) interface ?

    HI Guys,
    I am having the exact same problem with DHCP on the external interface as well, with version 3.2.  I will try and forward log files to him as well.  I hope that there is a fix soon!

    What type of hardware are you running 3.2 on?

    I have found that there is an issue with the DHCP code on Intel Pentium based chipsets.  This includes the FX, VX, HX, and TX chipsets.  I have tested this with classic and MMX processors as well as K6-II processor and the result is the same.  The DHCP code does not work.  I am going to try and find a socket 7 motherboard with another chipset (VIA, ALI, SIS) on it and see if that works.  Time has been short recently though.

    If you have access to a PII or better system, it works fine.
