I have client 2.2.275.0506 - this is a huge downgrade.

What are you referring to other than the Sophos Connect client? Can you be more specific in what you want? This is so vague...

I am trying to create a new connection to a Sophos UTM that I have had for years - a UTM SG 105 unit. The client upgraded but the ability to create a connection isn't there. I cannot move the window around either.

Can you paste a screenshot in a reply (don't link it, just drag it) so I can see please?

You should just have to log into the User Portal, download the .ovpn file you need and import it into Sophos Connect.
