The client can conecct to the VPN from Windows but the problem is even he can ping, can't resolve the domain, anyone seen this before?

It wasn't a DNS problem but ubuntu.access user becomes a host after connects to the UTM so you should NAT user and give access from firewall rules to DNS servers or any to any address.

I recommend DNS best practice. In Client Options, I usually recommend that #1 be the IP of your internal DNS server if you have one. In #2, use the IP of "Internal (Address)."
