[8.900][FEATURE] User portal does not work after Hotspot activation

That is a bit tricky, as you used the Hotspot on the internal network. That means also your workstation needs to authenticate itself using the browser. Yet I assume you don't have a voucher yet. But if you disable the hotspot, you can't create a voucher.
A catch 22.

Now to create an exception that bypasses the hotspot for specific hosts, go to the Advanced tab in Hotspot and go to " Walled Garden" box, there add the interfaces over which you want to access the enduser portal.

Of course it works if I add the Wireless interface but I assume the config I did creates a bug. If you made a mistake in the hotspot config, it breaks the user portal service.

Well, technically it doesn't break it, you just need to authenticate yourself against the hotspot, after that you are able to access the user portal.

Or does that not work?
