[8.920][BUG] notification on reboot: "Snort not running"

I get the following emails when I boot up v8.920

[INFO-107] WebAdmin webserver not running - restarted
[INFO-115] Snort not running - restarted


When I look at the console monitor, I see this:

:: Starting WebAdmin    failed
Failed services in runlevel 3: httpd

I got the same messages before when I was booting v8.910

    I am currently running v8.920 on a Compaq Evo D510 with a 1.6 GHz P4 CPU, 1.25 GB of PC133 RAM and a 40 GB IDE hard drive.
    It is a 10 year old spare machine.

    The dashboard looks like this:



    The machine is not actually being used as a router at the moment. It is just a test bed setup for me to play with the webadmin, so there is no traffic going through it.
    The LAN interface is connected to my LAN, while the WAN interface is connected to the LAN side of an old SMC 4-port router that has its WAN interface connected to my LAN.
