[9.200][BUG] Live flow, live logs hangs with Internet Explorer 11

Hi Martin,

Cant reproduce so far. For example, running constant traffic via http, the web filtering live log shows the logged traffic in all 3 browsers mentioned.
What does "after a period of time mean"?

I think he leaves it open and his session times out on the router. So yes you have to log back in.

Edit - you can go to WebAdmin settings - Advanced and change the idle timeout.

Yes I can do just the same, BUT, I have tried to make a reproduce manual for IE11, if you look at the live log for the firewall in eks. 5 minutes, then close the live log and go into the SMTP live log, nothing will be displayed, even if there is a lot of traffic going on, when you then close the SMTP live log and go back to the firewall live log, it also stays empty. If you then close the browser window and log into the utm Again, it Works, but only for a certain amount of time, going from 1 minute to 6-7 minutes. but ONLY with IE11, with firefox I never had problems. I have tested it out this evening Again with UTM 9.1 and the new soft release of 9.2 on Windows 7 and 8.1, with IE11 and FF, but the end result stays the same :-)

I know it's maybe a minor bug, but it's kinda anoying for such a great product ;-)

@Jasin: It is not timeout, I set it for 9999 secods :-)

Ok, I see what Martin is saying. I left a live log up for a while, then switched to another and back to the normal live log. It is now blank and nothing is happening.

This is in Chrome.

I have the same issues with ie10, Firefox (waterfox), and chrome. All running on Windows 8 (german system).

I also tried to reproduce this issue with Win7/Chrome & IE for about 30 minutes in two tabs/UTMs without success so far...

But I once found a similar issue if IPv6 connectivity is disabled while a live log is shown. So I currently assume, that this situation might be related to some kind of network change/event while watching the live log.

To check this, can you (all) please provide some details about how you are connected to the UTM? I.e. directly via LAN/from external/via VPN/via (reverse?) proxy/etc...

For example, I did my tests while I am directly connected to the UTM in the same LAN.

Hi ant,
I'm connected via WLAN. The browser also freeze sometimes If I don't do anything and no livelog window is opened. Last seen before 15 minutes, with 64bit Firefox (Waterfox).

thanks - just one additional question: Is the WLAN in the same subnet/IP range as the UTM or is some sort of routing/NAT involved?

(And maybe: Are you also using one of our AP modules or a different product for the WLAN access?)

same subnet. The UTM internal Interface is the default gateway.
