With previous versions it was impossible to change the size of the file cached, is this something that will continue with Copernicus, or will we be able to choose the maximum file-size, TTL and other options relevant to caching?
i doubt it. The ability to modify the caching parameters is something folks want but sophos made a decision that they have vehemently stood behind...I've challenged them behind the scenes and their decision on this is resolute barring a massive outcry and a serious drop in sales..both of which i highly seriously doubt are going to happen since it has been a loooong time since they went to an in-house proxy.

no we don't. Sophos has made http proxy tuning nearly zero. i gave up on it a while ago. http caching is not really that big of an issue any more as the vast majority of sites are dynamically generated.
