[ANSWERED] Beta Road Map

I agree with q2srw77. We would like to know a small roadmap in order to start sell it for some env where layer 8 is mandatory.

I agree too. Especially because I just hold my tests due to some key features are not available yet, like Email protection and UTM-to-UTM RED túnnel.

Do you know if this feature will be available again?
Is there a feature list of all things that will exist once they're done?

@demonwarext, accordingly AlanT (https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/66/t/57838) UTM-to-UTM RED tunnel is planning for next versions. But I don't know if there is a deadline to this feature becomes available.

We should be feature complete at this point, for what we will release in Copnernicus v1. What will still change is some ui, config defaults, and general fixes.

This release will have many new features, and will be missing a few notable features. (including s2s red tunnels..). 

Moving forward, we'll target a six month feature release cycle, so six months after this release, we'll have the next feature release, which will target  remaining feature gaps. If there's other features we haven't added yet, that are critical to your deployments, let us know.

Alan, do you mean 2FA won't be included in v1? On the beta page it says it is coming so I don't know if that means for v1 or afterwards.

@demonwarext, yes it's not strictly an upgrade to UTM9. We will continue to develop new features for UTM9 while we make sure that Copernicus can fully replace all UTM scenarios. UTM 9 will continue to be sold and maintained for quite some time. 

@jasin yes, unfortunately, we couldn't get 2fa included in time for this release. it's an important feature that I really hated to see slip from this release, but it will be back in the next version of Copernicus!
