upgrading from 8.200 to 8.201 not succeeding

hi all,

i'm quite new to ASG... yesterday i have updated my virtual appliance (8.102) to 8.103 and then to 8.200.

A few hours later i've found the 8.201 package in the ftp server, uploadad via webadmin and... no update process has started. Yes the file has been downloaded correctly, checked with md5. And tried a few times...

Did you click on the update button on the Overview Tab? Just uploading the file will not begin the update process. If you did begin the update process, you can check in the up2date log for information about what's going on.

In WebAdmin, if you go to Management>>Licensing, are you seeing anything disabled? Also, do all features show the same expiration date?

i see only the base license with no exp date, others are all disabled/not licensed because it's essential edition.

If it were me, I'd download and reapply the license from https://www.astaro.com/user/login. Maybe it's been updated. Please post back with your results.

I have the same issue with the essentials version.

I was able to upgrade it to v8.200b but now the upgrades fail with a no valid licence error.

Have you tried redownloading/reapplying the license? It's just a guess, but maybe it'll work. Certainly couldn't hurt. I did see in https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/52/t/28105 that scottj had to do this.

Not that we need more voices added to this, but we also cannot update for the same reasons. Reapplying the certificate doesn't fix anything.

Any ideas?
