[8.270][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Is the Log Management Function actually available?

When I attempt to enable Log Management on a Beta Instance of 8.270, I get the message "We have temporarily stopped the Preview program. Please try again in a few days."

This is a system that I restored a 8.202 demo backup to -- but I don't recall ever having enabled Log Management on that instance.  I chose the option "This is the first ASG on which I enable Log Management" to configure it.

  • Bruce, I'm not seeing that in my logs.  I restored from 8.201 and I did have log management activated when there.

  • Hi Bruce,
This is exactly what you are expected to see if you decide to create a new LM account. The LM beta is completely separate from the ASG 8.300 beta, and we stopped accepting new accounts for the LM beta about two weeks ago.
Customers who already have an account there (like Bob) can continue to use it, we just don't accept any new ones.
    Cheers,
     Andreas
  • Andreas, can you PM me?  It's important to us to see how Log Management has progressed in the interval since the last beta.
