[8.165][BUG][OPEN] Blank Daily Executive Reports

Starting in 8.165 I started getting blank executive reports. I have no idea what log files would be useful so let me know [:)]

I did a search but didn't find this reported before.

    No, prior to 8.165 the ASG would become inaccessible after importing my config backup. I did a fresh install of 8.165 but have been upgrading since then.

    I started using 8.165 on June 1 but didn't get a blank exec report until June 9. ASG was powered off on June 10 (testing memory after upgrade).  I should have included a wider date range in my screen capture...

    And you are looking at the report with what program? Are those the .html or the pdf reports, maybe something else you want to tell us about your configuration?

    These are HTML reports viewed in Mozilla Thunderbird version 3.1.11. They are blank in Microsoft Outlook 2007 and in a SquirrelMail v1.4.21 web interface. This is what the source code of the blank executive reports looks like:

    If I navigate to the Logging & Reporting ► Executive Report ► View Report tab and click Generate report now, I get a normal looking HTML report. I'll try enabling PDF emails and archiving to see if anything shows up tomorrow.

    Are you able to be more specific about what aspect of the configuration could be of interest? Would it simplify things if I could somehow just send you my config?

    The PDF reports show up and look normal. I haven't used the PDF option before but it looks OK.

    So after getting the PDF report for one day I turned the PDF option back off. Since then I've received two normal HTML reports in a row. I suppose somehow the switches for both were turned off in some config file.

    Let's just wait a few days and see if it happens again...

    It happened again. Executive report was blank today.

    Normal daily report and a blank weekly report on the morning of July 3, blank daily reports on the 4th and 5th as well. I can't guess at the pattern or a coloration to any events. I have made very few changes in the config since July 2.

    I created and then deleted a static route which I found was unnecessarily and edited a few web filter exceptions.


    I turned off a NAT rule.
