[8.163][BUG][FIXED] DHCP or licence not counting iP addresses

I have been trying to determine whether I have a DHCP problem or what?

My ASG is not recording any IPv6 address allocations, IPv4 isn't but it is at least assigning addresses, but not registering them.

My licence count shows no licences, though I did a restart this morning as an attempt to fix a IPv6 problem. IPv6 problem not resolved, due to at this stage a problem with the IPv6 POP, gblon02.

    Ian, where exactly IS the problem ?!

    You have IPv6 address on you system and you can ping the IPv6 ASG address,
    so you have IPv6 connectivity on your windows system.

    As I wrote in a previous message, license accounting is only accounting
    ACTIVE IP addresses. If you don't use IPv6 from your workstation, e.g.
    surf to ipv6.google.com, the IPv6 address is NOT accounted...

    the IPv6 address appears in the licence count.

    The DHCP assigned IPv6 address does not appear in the DHCP lease lists, that is the issue. So without the UID from the lease table, I cannot create a static entry and have the DNS details created.

    Also there is an error in the log about releasing address not assigned to a MAC address. I have posted a log extract in one of the earlier posts.
