Hello. Since Hyper-V virtulization is around for almost 3 years, i would like to know if Astaro intends to support this platform and if there is a timeframe for this.
Hyper-V works just fine, can you explain the errors you get when using ASG with hyper-v? Also IE is both supported and working great, what is the problem you face when using it? The more specific you can be, the more we can help.
Well, if i remember correctly from other posts i read when 8.000 was to be released, hyper-v wasn't supported since Astaro didn't have the time to fully test the enviroment. So it was scheduled for a next version os Astaro.
After installing the product (8.002) in a hyper-v machine, i see for example that i still have to use legacy network adapters and that hyper-v intergration services are not supported.
As for IE8, my problem is reported in post "Webadmin not accesible with IE8"
Any advice is welcome.

Yes, intermittently the Webconsole URL lists and Profile 'pop-out' pages do not render at all.
It seems to come & go on different versions of IE and when you open a ticket they just give you the default response: 'Use Frierfrox'
In regards to Hyper-V, it supports SLES natively so there is no logical reason why they would refuse to support it (other than obvious bias) but we are getting used to that.
Unfortunately (for Asstaro) they will not be taken very seriously in the enterprise if they do not support corporate-standard software.
Hello. The problem is that after 3 years with hyper-v, Astaro is still "evaluating" for 8.200, as the link provided indicated.
It should be supported several months ago.
