[8.050][QUESTION][ANSWERED] How to add parent proxies in HTTP/S Parent Proxy routing

Sascha, I guess I don't understand what benefit we could get from an additional parent proxy.

It's one of the new features, that you can use different upstream proxies dependent on destination. Iften requested by some customers. I know it was implemented, but I can not find, how to configure. You'll find the entry under http / advanced

I'm almost certain you must be thinking about something else.  I don't ever remember when it was possible to assign more than a single upstream proxy, but I've never had to use that, so...

Hi Bob, we did indeed add this feature in 8.100. It will be very rarely used, and isn't a benefit unless a customer has this specific need, however it is in there. 

Sascha, you can configure this by first going to the profiles section and clicking on the new "parent proxies" tab. From there, the "order" of them can be defined using the http-->advanced section if needed, but 99% of the users who need this feature will just do it in the profile itself.
