[7.903][QUESTION][ANSWERED] daily and weekly reports

Hi,
at the moment every time my ASG is restarted the packet filter security shows over 5000 violations on the graph due to the ASG logging into every one of the major DNS.
The weekly report graph only shows just over 1000 violations.
The figures under the graph showing peak, average, minimum are correct but nothe axis values..

Why are the graphs so different?

    The weekly graphs are showing the averaged data. The max-value is printed in the legend below the graph, but the actual graph that you see is the average one. The reason why we choose to only show the average value is, that if you would also put in the maximum values, the averages would simply disappear.

    The reason why the average data is lower than the maximum is clear to you, isn't it?

    Thank you for the explanation.

    But not wanting to be too picky, the graph shows something other than the weekly average which is approx 19.00

    I expect in the case of a home user like myself the graphs are hard to draw with any relevant meaning.
