we tried many different approaches also with the width scaling, but the whole widget based gui framework did not benefit if you scale it, it just looked od and it did not help to show more information. We would have needed to completely rework the framework and implement many new widgets to benefit from the increased width.
even the table looked out of place so we only implemented the hight scaling.
