[7.460][BUG][FIXED] no update manual possible to version 7.470

since friday 10 july 14:00 (bst) the firewall was dead. no logs, no webadmin, no ssh. only port for warding from wan to dmz was working. i had to power down the box. i was on auto updates.

after getting the box back up and running we switched off auto updates and downlaoded the 7.470 update and tried to upgrade the box with no luck, see log

    over the weekend internet connectivity, webadmin & ssh to the box only worked for about 30 min. i had to power off / on the box to get access back, even a reboot didn't work.

    i did to connect a keyboard and monitor to the system to see what happened when it freezes. as this happened i was also not able to logon locally.

    this time frame of 30 min internet access wasn't enough to download the latest iso image 7.470. but i was able to buy and download spinrite to check the disk as reinstalling version 7.200 or the first beta 7.5 didn't work. spinrite did not find any problems with the disk but i was able to install the first 7.5 beta again. i couldn't restore my latest backup made with version 7.460, so i had to restore an older backup to get internet access. after this rebuild i was able to upgrade all the way to version 7.470 and restore my latest backup.

    looking at the executive report there is a whole blank part with no details when this all happened.

    system uptime is now 18 hours and counting.
