[7.450][DUPE][ANSWERED] restart causes streaming audio to fail

Hi,
I alluded to this in one of my other posts.

I rebuilt this box last night and left it running for approx 24 hrs. It ran without too many problems, at least none performance wise.

Because I hadn't restarted the ASG after installing my v7.403 config and the recommendation is to restart the ASG after the initial config installation.

I restarted the ASG and the streaming audio fails about every 3 minutes, rebuffers then stops. All other services including ADSL (PPPoE) quickly restored.

Having been badly burned once and reading some of the other threads I quickly took a backup of the current configuration. I used the latest config and bingo the ASG is back to behaving itself again.

Hi,
update to my post. I have found that the classification of the audio/mpeg suddenly changes and blocks the streaming music.
Wait a little while and it works again until classification goes wrong. This was not a problem under 7.403. Under v7.450b I can get it to play for hours sometimes, so somewhere there is a little gremlin.

Hi,
finally caught the change or the error message in the http proxy log.

Best I can determine after a couple of stops (total power off) and restarts and restores from 7.450 and 7.403 configs has nothing to do with my initial bug report.

Hi nitehawk,
I think the two go together.

I haven't been able to identify this every time I get a streaming drop. but I can most definitely identify e_poll.

I have spent many hours looking through large log files, with 2 real time logs running trying to capture information on this bug and isolate it.

I have posted everything I can find that is suspicious to me.
