[7.450][DUPE][ANSWERED] restart causes streaming audio to fail

Hi,
I alluded to this in one of my other posts.

I rebuilt this box last night and left it running for approx 24 hrs. It ran without too many problems, at least none performance wise.

Because I hadn't restarted the ASG after installing my v7.403 config and the recommendation is to restart the ASG after the initial config installation.

I restarted the ASG and the streaming audio fails about every 3 minutes, rebuffers then stops. All other services including ADSL (PPPoE) quickly restored.

Having been badly burned once and reading some of the other threads I quickly took a backup of the current configuration. I used the latest config and bingo the ASG is back to behaving itself again.

    Hi,
    update to my post. I have found that the classification of the audio/mpeg suddenly changes and blocks the streaming music.
    Wait a little while and it works again until classification goes wrong. This was not a problem under 7.403. Under v7.450b I can get it to play for hours sometimes, so somewhere there is a little gremlin.
