I was unable to activate a copy of Windows Server 2003 with the ASG HTTP Proxy running. I had to disable the HTTP Proxy in order for Windows to activate.
Does anyone know the settings that need to be added to the 'Exceptions' list for this?
Hi, you need to put the MS sites listed in the exception list.
Then you need to put some packet filter rules in place for each exception to allow the proxy bypass to get out. (there are sites in the network list already).
Do you really need to add packetfilter rules for proxy-exceptions? Isn't there a checkbox on the advanced tab below the "Transparent mode skiplist" that automatically does this?
