[7.250] traceroute truncates output [CONFIRMED]

Hi

don't really if this is normal, but If I enable "Firewall is Traceroute visible" into Advanced tab for Packet Filtering, then trying to do a traceroute www.google.fr using the support > tools > traceroute webadmin interface results into one line only:


traceroute to www.google.fr (74.125.39.104), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets

whereas if I disable Firewall is Traceroute visible I've the full list of hops...

I've tested same thing with your demo server which is 7.201 and all is working fine..

Also tested it here and can't reproduce it.

Hi Tom,
I think iis an issue with the same tool. Please see the attached jpeg. It doesn't matter whether the ASG is visible to traceroute or not.

If the box is not ticked, you get a one line response, if the box is ticked you get an unknown response.

Fixed it. The timeout value set on the traceroute process was much too aggressive.

@BuBu: I only got one-line output on your box no matter what the setting for "Traceroute visible". This is really unrelated.
