[5.800] Virus Pattern update failed?

we're currently working on this issue... 

did this only appear once (i.e. when doing the first update) or do you get that quite often?

Up2Date worked OK for me. 
Only issue was UDP packets with short TTLs, which results in getting ICMP TTL exceeded errors back. Saw this with version 5 as well. Put in a packet filter rule to keep them from cluttering up the log.

was your virus scanner running as the virus pattern updates was executed?  
If the virus scanner is not running the initial reload of the pattern base fails. This an known issue and we working on it.

ok. I've switched on Virus Protection for Web and the Update worked fine.
