some people like the new look of asl. is it not possible to have two different looks. the new one and a classic one. some people prefare the classic menu style.
Hmmm a workstation... hmm a firewalll not XP... But what if it's someones task to monitor a firewall with a layout that does hurt that persons eyes? I'm not saying the the current layout does hurt my eyes but i can imagine that some people prefer black on white for easy reading instead of white on black.... And then, all of the sudden, it become a firewall issue.. afterall if you want to be aware you have to monitor the firewall... IMHO

I could'nt agree more! But believe or not but, a couple of years ago i had a security audit on a firewall i build by Ernst & Young (advise company in the Netherlands). The firewall, based on RH 5.2/IPChains (that was a firewall in those days ) was in there opion ok but it almost did'nt get the desired certification simple because of a poor interface. B*llshit, it was a great firewall with reporting etc. but there opion was that a 'good' firewall must have a userfriendly interface....
