Would the Astaro-source-CD be sufficient for compiling a new kernel to support Via C3 and other unsupported CPUs for ASL4? Of course I'll have a compilebox handy also.
Support told me this also. I'm in waitposition ;-)
(I'll try to resist asking for due date ;-)
I understand that the lack of support for C3, K6 and others is due to some less than fortunate designdetails in these CPUs. Would someone care to elaborate on this?
