Would the Astaro-source-CD be sufficient for compiling a new kernel to support Via C3 and other unsupported CPUs for ASL4? Of course I'll have a compilebox handy also.
Hmmm. EPIA boards I assume? Now, I'd be interested if you get ASL to run on one of those! I hope to tinker with that once I'm done with VLANs, and getting restrictions into exim.conf for restricting inbound connections to only come from certain hosts...... the packets appear not to pass through the packet filter.....

I understand that the lack of support for C3, K6 and others is due to some less than fortunate designdetails in these CPUs. Would someone care to elaborate on this?
