[2.050][UNRESOLVED] Gateway Manager logout

Hi,

i'm just clicking through the new features. i've been logged out three times despite activity.

Maybe the logout timeout is not set correctly on Gateway Manager activity.

oh sorry I added a defect for this.. ([2.050][BUG] Quick Unexpected logout while browsing into Gateway Manager)

but I can confirm I got same problems...

so u can close my thread and mark it as DUPE !

Regarding the issue you both encountered - generally there is no such thing as a logout idle timeout within the Gateway Manager. There are no times of inactivity as it constantly receives notifications from the backend (ACC core daemon).

We will need some time to reproduce and investigate this one. In the meantime, can you say anything about the quality of your network connection between your browsers and the ACC? Do you access it via an internal Ethernet or is it via VPN and public Internet access?

Yesterday evening using it from home via internet it was nearly unusable, i was logged out many times. Today via ethernet it seems to be a bit better, but unexpected logouts still occure. For now i found no way to reproduce the logouts...

I was on same ethernet segment... browsing from Firefox 3.0.14 under ubuntu 9.04...

my asg is under xen (ubuntu), not paravirtualized so 100M only, my acc is under virtualbox 1G (Intel Pro Server), and my client box ubuntu on 1G LAN...

I get it time to time but not too often..

FWIW, I haven't had this problem... this is from a Vista SP2 system with IE8, and an old XP SP3 System w/ IE8.

Seems to work fine w/ Firefox 3.0.13 as well, on top of Vista SP2.

I'm using FF3.5.3 on Windows 7. Haven't seen the problem with IE yet.

Just to give you some update on this issue.

We might incorporate an adjusted AJAX javascript module within the upcoming 2.060 BETA release which could have the potential to resolve the issue.

I'll keep you posted.
