Could you please list the actions you've performed? Did you - by any chance - click "GeoIP" button on the Management >> Registration page for the affected device?
Just a note: - to manually modify device location, use "Save" button - to update device location based on it's IP, press "GeoIP"; this will overwrite manual setting.
as the Information found with the IP Adress is not correct, I've corrected
the City and Latitude and Longitude with the coordinates from Google
Earth. I clicked on save and the information was saved, since I saw the information
after editing the device again.
Now after a while, the information is the old one again. I asume it has to
do with the dynamic IP adress of the device, so if it's changing, an geoip
request is triggered.
If I have the coordinates from google earth and I enter them here, those
are not shown right on the yahoo map. Who is correct?
could you do us a favor and check the contents of /etc/location on your respective appliance. If it differs from the changes you made within the ACC Device Registration then the data was not written back. In this case, the device will supply the old/uncorrected data the next time it reconnects to the ACC.

we have known about this and it was already fixed, but somehow evaded the 7.260 Up2Date. We have retested it and it will be contained in the 7.270 Up2Date which should be available within the next days.
As we did not communicate this beforehand as known-issue, you will receive a point.
