OK, the solution is found.
It will take a while to convert and import all avatars and unfortunatelly all "new" avatars will be lost. Sorry.

It looks like still not all old avatars are available. All of you who still miss it, need to upload it again. Sorry again...

Only complaint I have is trying to remember this long username now.. my username used to be just ReD-MaN, now it is using my old Display name. Can it be changed?

There is no separated displayname and username anymore.

New BBS software, just as I was getting used to the old one. Oh, well. I'll get the new wrinkles figured out eventually.

I am currently unable to upload or configure for an avatar picture. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

The time in minutes shown on the BBS is wrong. It is either 20 min fast, or 40 min slow. Atomic clock time sync would be prudent for the machine it is running on.

OK, upload of avatars works now and the time is synced, too.

Hi, the dates and some other text is extremely hard to read (grey on orange).

To be frank, the contrast ratios between colors on this site has always given me a headache... but it's even worse now.
