Accessing Local subnet over Remote SSL VPN Range network

Created SSL VPN by following the KB122769 with the following settings:

IP Host - Local subnet 192.168.3.0

IP Host - VPN Range 10.10.10.1 to .25

Under SSL VPN (Remote Access) I have Identity of Remote SSL Group and under Tunnel Access I have added local subnet

I can connect to the VPN and I can confirm that my IP is 10.10.10.5

I cannot reach any network devices on the 192.168.3.0 network. What routing setting would i need to adjust to be able to i.e. RDP to 192.168.3.100 ?

Thanks in advance

  • Did you create a firewall rule to allow your ‘VPN Range’ IP host from source zone of ‘VPN’ to access your ‘Local subnet’ on destination zone ‘LAN’?

I typed up this guide on the steps I took to setup SSL VPN. Might be worth taking a quick look to see if there’s any other steps to do. I found the Sophos How-To Video incomplete but that KB article was pretty good.

  • Hello there,

Is this thread still active as I am having the similar issue and have followed all the steps but still not able to access the local resources.
