Sophos XG Home licencing

Hi - I have downloaded the ISO for XG Home firewall and built an appliance, it works perfectly. I received an email from Sophos with my Licence Key. When I enter the licence key sent to me every time I enter the web console it asks me to register but refuses and says my licence is currently Deferred. What is this supposed to actually mean? The licence on mysophos portal shows all is well. I am worried that after 30 days it is going to stop working.. Please help.

    4. Make sure the device is setup for internet access (required for activation): change the network settings from the Basic Setup screen if necessary.

    5. Enter your serial number (provided below) into the setup screen and click "Activate Appliance".

    6. Then register your device with your MySophos ID by clicking "Register Device" and entering your MySophos ID and password that you used to download the software.

     

    7. Once the device is registered, you can initiate License Synchronization and proceed with the rest of the configuration.

    Update on this. After a lot of head banging I happened to notice that the time on the device I was setting up was saying 2021. After setting the correct time and date and using the console and then restarting the wizard it worked perfectly! The time and date being wrong had also affected the automatic download of firmware updates. setting the correct time and date in the administration settings cured this immediately. So basically my fault and nothing wrong with either hardware or software. Me being a numpty

    Thank you those who offered advice, had the time and date been correct they would no doubt all been correct.
